In 2002 SOTX established its headquarters, research and development, market and sales departments in Shenzhen setting up the Shenzhen SOTX Sports Equipment Co. Ltd. It now has extensive sales networks in more than 20 countries and in China has a network in over 100 major cities and 30 provinces and municipalities and in excess of 300 stores. Within the next three years it is expected that over 2000 SOTX exclusive stores will be opened in China alone, further enhancing the SOTX brand.

As a result of this support for badminton the Chinese Badminton Association and Chinese Centre Television have rewarded SOTX with the "Sports Contribution Award". Within China it is the equipment provider for many teams including Sichuan, Hubei and Lianoning Men's and its own Bayi SOTX team as well as sponsoring Wang Chen (Hong Kong, singles winner Asian games 2006, runner up World chapionships 2007), Andrea Zvorc (Croatia), Linda Zetchiri (Bulgaria), Alexander Aixao (Portugal), Ali Kaya (Turkey) and many others.
