Age 14 Alex has been playing badminton for 4 years and first represented Bridlington, East Riding and then Yorkshire whilst still at Burlington Junior School.

Now at 13 years old Alex is ranked 10th in the U14 category in England and ranked 2nd in Yorkshire in his age group.

He trains 2-3 times a week at the performance centre in Hull and competes in the adult leagues in East Riding. Currently Alex is competing in singles, mixed doubles and men’s doubles in England Under 15 tournaments, which takes him all over the country along with his Yorkshire team events.
Recent Results
This season started in September with Alex’s fist tournament aboard in Milan earning a Gold medal in Under15 Mixed doubles, a Silver in U15 Singles and a Bronze in an men’s doubles category.
This was followed a week later by the same results at the 22nd Liverpool open. Alex’s most recent results include 2 gold medals ( singles and mixed doubles) Durham U15 silver tournament, and a very hard fought silver medal in the U15 silver mixed doubles final at Leigh, Manchester.
